Wild Ways To Garden

In June of 2009 I found myself surrounded by the most beautiful garden I had ever stepped into. The Huntington Library,Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California.  The 120 acre garden has plants from a geographical range spanning the globe. The Desert Garden alone has over 5000 different cacti and succulent  species. The Japanese Garden and Chinese Gardens feature bridges,a furnished Japenese house, Liu FangYuan~ Garden of Flowering Fragrance, streams and a lake surrounded by beautiful sculptured plants,buildings and many Bonsai. The other gardens are the Rose, Jungle,Subtropical,Shakesphere,Palm,Lily Pond, Camellias,Jungle,Herb, Australian and Childrens Garden.  The site also has museums and a library that hold priceless art and artifacts.  I can not begin to explain the feeling and inspiration I left with after a day spent wandering the 240 acre wonderland.
